this car came equipped with the 427/435 hp tri-power engine with the L-89 optioned heads. The very low serial number means it was built in the first month of production and is one of the first, if not the first L-89 built. It is one of only 624 Corvettes built with this high horsepower engine that year and only a small number were convertibles.
