This 1979 MGB was totally restored and upgraded, including complete engine rebuild, new suspension and brakes, rotors, calipers, master cylinder, springs, Monroe shocks tire rods, new Panasport alloy wheels, and new Michel Pilot Sport tires. It was lowered 1 1/2 inches back to pre- 1975 specs which dramatically improved the handling. The car was stripped and sanded down to bare metal, new rocker panels were welded in place.No It is total rust free and has never been in a collision. It was skinned, sanded , primed and got multiple coats of PPG British Racing Green paint and clear coat.The entire interior was replaced including the seats, carpets and side panels in Autumn Leaf (dark tan) with a new Tan Duralast vinyl convertible top and Landau top cover. The trunk (boot) is totally carpeted with a matching spare tire cover. The ugly, old heavy rubber bumpers were replaced with 1974 style bright chrome bumpers and grille which helped decrease weight by 150 lbs.and improve performance
