Some of the coolest cars are those that could have been, like this 1969 Pontiac Firebird that has a bit of GTO Judge DNA running through its veins. Still packing V8 power and an awesome look, this is a neat ragtop that’ll get everyone talking, and at this price, it definitely won’t last. Carousel Red is the archetypal Pontiac color and was best showcased on the GTO Judge. However, it looks just as good on the Goat’s F-body cousin, and this car stands out in a crowd without trying too hard. And quite honestly, this one looks truly amazing with exceptionally good bodywork accentuating the F-body’s many wonderful curves and details. Check out the laser-straight crease that runs from nose to tail, the cool vents in the front fenders, and, of course, the twin nostrils in the hood that made the Firebird look better than almost anything else on the road in 1969. Out back there’s also a Trans Am style wing that makes this car look formidable from any angle, and the nose has a combination of body-color headlight surrounds and a chrome grille, a contrast that many enthusiasts seem to prefer.
