This 1968 Lotus Elan Race Car has a early racing history beginning in 1970’s and competed in the 2015 season. The Elan has been recently rebuilt and was tested at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. It also recently competed in the Vintage Fall Festival event at CTMP in September 2015. This race car comes with a log book.  The paint and body are in great condition underneath is a very clean rust free Spider chassis. The roll cage is newer and is completely welded with Kirkey seat and a 5 point harness. The rebuild included a complete rebuild with all new parts of the engine done by John Dodd. A new clutch assembly mounted to a early Toyota Celica 5 speed transmission. Also has a freshly rebuilt rear differential. The car has 4 piston front brakes dual pin calipers and 2 piston rear calipers in the rear. This car is equipped with front coil-over suspension in the front and rear. There is a fuel cell with braided lines.  It has a brand new windshield. The car comes with 14×6 Minator wheels. This is a beautiful Lotus Race car and a fantastic car to drive.
