This car took a couple of years to build and it is completely ready to go. We used the correct 312 Y block motor (which was rebuilt, a 3 speed manual column shifter, the correct rear end. All the body molding, chome and badging we all love from is correct from the 57 era. The paint is beautiful and the colors are exactly the same as Fireball Roberts drove for the convertable series of NASCAR. This car was never raced but was purpose built to represent this era of racing. In 2013 we completed The Great Race with this car. We travelled from St. Paul to Mobile and crossed the finish line. Since then we took the car back to NC took it apart and built it again. This is not a show car, it is an amzing car that deserves to be driven. It will go anywhere at any time! We spent endless hours combining racing history and what will make this car a great driver. We feel we found a perfect balance once we completed this car.
