Here’s a REAL muscle car! It’s a 1970 ‘triple-black’ (body/ interior/ top) 4-4-2 convertible with the Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. Wearing a fresh coat of black paint and with a strong and freshly-rebuilt 455 cubic inch motor, this beast is a rare and appreciating example of ‘muscle-car’ history. 1970 was the peak year for performance for the Oldsmobile 4-4-2. In 1970, GM dropped the cap on engine size and Olds installed a monster 455 cubic inch 4-barrel into their mid-sized muscle car as its standard motor. Output from the factory was listed at 365 hp with 500 lb·ft of torque. This car isn’t perfect, but is a very good ‘driver’, and with a little work can be brought up to ‘show’ condition.
